Tips for getting prints that work on the CR-10:

  • Use the newer CURA, the icon is blue, not green.

  • Set the default bed temp to 0 for PLA - faster startup time and no issues with lifting.

  • Put a fresh coat of glue stick down before every print. You can add more if after the first perimeter it becomes clear that you didn't have glue over your whole print, just make sure not to let the head hit your hand (burns aren't fun).

  • Use a raft with air gap settings of no more than .12. If your air gap is too large you'll get lifting between the part and the raft, especially with large layer heights (like .2 and above).
